This workshop uses a modified Level 1 curriculum based on training from our University taught workshop, adapted for volunteers, historical groups, cemetery boards, and community advocates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need previous experience?
No. This workshop is designed for beginners.
Will we be repairing monuments?
No. Monument repair, resetting, lifting, stabilization, and other conservation procedures are considered Level 2 techniques and are not part of this workshop.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Participants who complete the workshop will receive a Certificate of Completion.
What should I wear?
Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work and closed-toe shoes.
Are meals included?
Only in registration packages that specifically include the meal option.
Are tools included?
Only in registration packages that specifically include the tool kit.
What if weather becomes an issue?
The workshop includes both indoor and outdoor activities. Adjustments will be made as necessary.
